The implementation of the project involves scientists from the Department of Management and Behavioral Economics, Department of Accounting, Analysis and Audit, Department of Entrepreneurship, Corporate and Spatial Economy.
Members of the research team and lecturers have many years of experience working with different categories of students in both face-to-face and remote formats; combine teaching with training and research work, implementing the results of the latter one into the educational process; regularly undergo advanced training.
Short description of the projectThe project aims at professional training of persons with full or basic higher education, who are registered in employment centers as specialists in demand on the labor market:
- managers in workforce selection, provision and planning;
- auditors and qualified accountants;
- specialist in business efficiency.
Courses can cover either all three areas of study or each area separately.
The professional training course combines basic modules (foundations of market economy and legal regulation of entrepreneurship, basics of legislation, job search techniques, basics of knowledge about a healthy lifestyle) with modules that form professional competencies within these areas.
The specialization “Managers in workforce selection, provision and planning” helps to acquire practical competencies in personnel management, in particular through gaining skills in using various management tools and recruitment technologies, development of personnel motivation systems, personnel administration, socio-psychological methods of management and entrepreneurship.
The specialization “Auditors and qualified accountants” helps to acquire and improve practical skills of accounting, control and analysis in the software “1C-Accounting 8.0”. The module contains practice-oriented tasks in tax accounting, auditing, internal control, financial analysis and basics of evaluation using the software “1C-Accounting 8.0”.
The specialization “Specialist in Business Efficiency” helps to acquire entrepreneurial skills, focused on developing a unique business plan. It includes, in particular, training modules on self-employment, business planning, fundraising and crowdfunding, financial planning, taxation, business presentations, etc.
The uniqueness of the program is that advanced training takes place in a distance format using innovative educational technologies.
The program is inclusive and allows to involve students with special needs in their professional development.
The educational process takes place remotely using the services of the University’s corporate network, Skype, Moodle, etc. Teaching methods include video lectures, information exchange in the Office 365 environment, online counseling, taking tests and completing tasks remotely by connecting to DonNU VDI and RemoteApp applications, protection of business plans and passing exams using MS Skype.
Duration of training (2.9 months) can be adapted to the needs of the target audience.
During the project implementation in Vinnytsia (since 2015), more than 200 unemployed people from Donetsk region underwent vocational training (and received relevant documents); project participants succeeded to raise money and implement real business projects.

Software and services for distance learning (MS Office 365, Moodle, Skype, DonNU VDI and RemoteApp applications, Google services, etc.), technical training is implemented in computer classes of the Faculty of Economics.
